We are Sheldon and Nicole – the family behind Las Lomas Ranch, a family owned and operated avocado ranch in Santa Barbara, California. 

We were born and raised in Santa Barbara, where we became high school sweethearts. In 2018, we were married among the avocado orchards – surrounded by our closest family and friends.

Farming isn’t new to us.

Sheldon was raised among the very same avocado orchards we farm today. He is a fifth-generation farmer, and has spent over 15 years farming and ranch managing. He has dedicated his life to growing quality fruit while caring for the land.

Nicole spent a decade as a preschool teacher and later opened a small preschool right here on the ranch. She created an environment for children to enjoy the peaceful nature it has to offer.

Today, we are raising our two daughters on the ranch, surrounded by the farming lifestyle that has sustained past generations.
